I’ve always believed in setting new trends & making heads turn! I’m loving the beauty & unique fashion trends of Middle Eastern attire, and have started implementing them in my wardrobe! The Middle Eastern fashion mantra is conservative yet mysterious – bold & unique! Here are 5 tips to add some Mid-East mystique to your look!

1) Its all in the eyes

Black kohl above and below the eyes with earthen tones of eye shadow (green, blue, or black) to accentuate your eyes. Highlight with a gold or silver eye shadow above the eyes, and end with lots of mascara. Now you’ve got the seductive Middle Eastern eyes. Mashalla!!!

2) Jewel it up with evil eyes

Middle Eastern jewellery is known for its evil eye. Bracelets, rings,and neck pieces can be worn with formal or casual attire. Make sure you decide on one Middle Eastern accessory and wear a lot of them, for instance a chunky necklace or many thin chains with the evil eyes. Same goes for bracelets. My personal favourite are pendants with Arabic lettering,  I’ve even got one with my name in Arabic!

3) Carry it too!

4) Fusion Middle Eastern attire such as jumpsuits & maxis

A conservative Middle Eastern dress can be made more interesting & stylish with drapes. Make harem pants a jumpsuit, or make the kaftan a maxi dress! Snip a small length of the kaftan & you have a chic casual dress with a funky belt! Get creative coz that’s what Middle Eastern attire is all about!!

5) Must have scarf!

If prefer a simple Middle Eastern look – get the scarf! Wear it with skirts, pants, dresses or anything! I would accessorize it with a big flower broach & wear it around the neck, or a bandanna!
