Y-es, I’m back with yet another Gucci-related post – sorry! − but I’ll try to keep it short and simple 🙂 Blake Lively, Salma Hayek-Pinault and Florence Welch were papped this week wearing Gucci, and courtesy of the fashion house we’ve the pics. Have a peep to see if you like those pieces 😉

shopping in London’s Bond Street on the 4th September – and much to my surprise, she was clad head-to-toe in Gucci. She went for a oshibana-printed crêpe de chine blouse with degradé printed georgette gathered trousers, from the Pre-Fall 2012 collection. Burgundy leather high heel sandals, tortoise shell sunglasses and burgundy top handle ‘bamboo’ bag completed her look. I could never picture Florence as a Gucci girl – to me, she’s McQueen all the way − but she made this look her own, non? FYI, the top Florence is wearing can be found at the Gucci stores in India, and it costs INR 60,500.
Salma Hayek-Pinault’s been in Venice to attend all the events Gucci organised – she’s the Gucci queen, after all! − during the 69th Venice Film Festival (see here, here and here). While going for a boat ride in Venice on 2nd September with her husband François-Henri and daughter Valentina, she slung a Gucci antique rose leather ‘Emily’ chain handbag with horsebit tassel detail, on her shoulder. Yeah, yeah it’s a dainty little bag and all, but it’s the tangerine sheath dress from Roland Mouret’s Resort 2013 collection and the nude YSL Tribtoos that I’m lusting after!! Btw, the ‘Emily’ chain shoulder bag is available at the Gucci stores in India and they cost INR 60,500 – which is the same price as in the US, a tad higher than in the Eurozone, but way less than in the UK!
Finally, the Gucci girl du jour, Blake Lively, was spotted heading towards Venice’s Marco Polo Airport the morning after her Gucci Première fragrance launch shindig wearing Gucci: cream stretch cotton jacket with gold buttons (from Pre-Fall 2012), blue and white striped dress shirt (from Cruise 2013 collection), blue denim jeans, brown high-heeled sandals and a horsebit bracelet in18K yellow gold and pavé brown diamonds. Ah, she looks effortlessly chic – I like!
