Even after the Raaz 3 team did extensive promotions in Dubai (remember the hectic day they had), the film has hit a rocky patch in the UAE. The movie was supposed to open today, but our newest Dubai-based blogger Vidhi Sharma tells us that when a group of her friends went to the cinema with their pre-booked tickets in hand, they were turned away since the shows had been cancelled! Here’s why:
Apparently, the UAE has not approved the film yet, and is looking to cut approximately 26 minutes of it. So that means the film misses its opening day (which is Thursday in Dubai), and will most likely be screened only after the portions of the film have been cut. We’re not sure exactly what scenes they’re looking to axe, but considering it’s a film from the Bhatt camp, we can definitely hazard a guess. In any case, we’ll keep you updated as we know more!
