The first song of Preity Zinta‘s upcoming film, Ishkq in Paris, is now out. The track is called It’s All About Tonight and is the same song we heard featured in the trailer of the film – including that particularly hypnotic mon cheri part that was stuck in my head for hours after I saw the trailer (it was sung and written by Sophie Choudry, you go girl). Check out the song and let us know what you think!
I think the song has been shot well and the mon cheri section is as catchy as ever, but I’m not entirely feeling the song yet – maybe it’ll grow on me, but for now I’m on the fence. I have to wonder what it would have been like if Pritam did the composition for the track. He was initially the music director for the film, but when he failed to deliver Preity dropped him and went with Sajid-Wajid instead. The song is sung by Sunidhi Chauhan and Wajid, with the French parts being sung by Sophie.
In any case, I think PZ looks great – it’s nice to see the fun, spirited Preity again, and I’m really liking how her hair is styled in this film. Rhehan Malliek is cute, too! What do you think about the song?
