Now here’s a Hollywood movie I’m absolutely dying to see 🙂 especially since Mad Men vetted my appetite for all things Retro Chic The Great Gatsby set in the 1920s is high on that list as the golden age of  lifestyle, fashion – and not to mention chivalry. So when my pal Zeenat posted this awesome character map on my Facebook wall I simply had to share! Leo, Toby, Carey, Isla and Amitabh (yes our very own Mr. Bachchan!), all the players are in place, game on.

The Great Gatsby is a novel by American author F. Scott Fitzgerald. The book takes place from spring to autumn 1922, during a prosperous time in the United States known as the Roaring Twenties, which lasted from 1920 until the Wall Street Crash of 1929. (Yup, the very same crash everyone compared the recent economic crisis to – i.e. “the worst Stock Market Crash since 1929” Now you’re interested huh?

PS. Between 1920 and 1933, Prohibition completely banned the sale and manufacturing of all alcoholic beverages: distilled spirits, beer, and wine. The ban made millionaires out ofbootleggers, who smuggled in the now-illegal substance.

The Great Gatsby has been filmed five times and is being filmed for the sixth time.
