The Mumbai Batman Premiere of The Dark Knight Rises at PVR Juhu was fairly celebrity studded despite the fact that with Rajesh Khanna’s passing they almost considered canceling it. So while the boys started out fairly sedate, Chetan Hansraj in CK Jeans and a shirt he bought from Ibizza in Bandra…
Gaurav Chopra definitely pushed the envelope, unless he was also planning to attend a Kishore Kumar tribute screening later (in costume) that I was not aware of.
Prateik Babbar was not the only one who broke out his Batman t-shirt (and was apparently rewarded with an action figure.) Shruti Seth followed suit, and while I love the tee and don’t really mind the hat, the combination with that leather jacket and those boots is borderline comic!
Meanwhile the girls who glammed it up red carpet style included Poorna Jagannathan (who loves her Shivan & Narresh), Vidya Malvade and Shenaz Treasury in Warehouse.
I do have to say I quite like what Pooja Bedi’s daughter Aalia is wearing, very Gossip Girl chic, I love how this one’s turning out!
