If there’s a brand that ushered the new era of minimalism in the late 2000s it’s undoubtedly Céline. Its designer Pheobe Philo brought back the sharp cuts and classic silhouettes and ever since then, I’ve wanted our froufrou obsessed Bollywood celebrities to adopt this look. And now Deepika Padukone has finally answered my prayers!
At Pooja Makhija’s book launch Eat.Delete, Padukone chose a Céline Resort 2011 jumpsuit that she wore back to front. Nude Jimmy Choo “Quiet” pumps and a DvF ‘Coryn’ clutch completed her look. The only jewellery she had on was a gold statement cocktail ring which just gave the right amount of glam.
