That’s because Aamir Khan owns the rights to the song and gave his consent for it to be used for a sequence picturised on Abhishek Bachchan.
What’s more is that Aamir Khan did not allow Rohit Shetty to pay him any royalty for the use of the song! Whenever a song is used, a royalty is usually paid to the music company or the owner of the song! But since Aamir was himself the owner of the song, he let Rohit use it free of cost!
