I just heard there’s an accessory workshop coming to town 🙂 sounds exciting! Here are the deets:

Anusha Lalwani (who makes the cutest Art Clutches) is conducting an Accessorizing 101 workshop in Bombay in association with Extra Mile Cafe on Saturday, July 28th she tells me it’s going to be a super fun and interactive!

Accessorizing 101 Will Include…

The importance of accessorizing – The what, and the why.
Does size matter? Accessorizing for your body type.
Accessory basics – different ways to style your basics for different occasions and make your wardrobe go that Extra Mile.
Accessory FAQs including accessorizing with prints, how to avoid over-accessorizing, work appropriate accessorizing.

Demos – different and innovative ways to wear scarves, belts, and brooches.
DIY Accessories – sprucing up old, tired pieces.
The shoe dilemma – when to wear what, and why.
Storing your accessories – why to care, and how.
Personal consultation – Bring 3-5 accessories that you own, that you find hard to wear, and we’ll talk about different ways to make them work with your wardrobe.

Class will include:
A take-away booklet with all the information covered.
Discount coupons to several accessory brands.
A lucky draw of fun accessories!

The workshop is for 1,800rs. And there’s an early bird 10% discount for anyone who registers before the 15th of July.

FYI Extra Mile Cafe just opened up a new spot in Bandra for a variety of workshops from Freelance Journalism with Femina’s ex Editor Sathya Saran to makeup by luxury brands and even styling by Sonam Kapoor’s stylist, the Cafe plans to offer a lot of interesting sessions. And Mondays are FREE workshops on everything from poker lessons, to working-from-home, etiquette etc.
