I love it when Indian celebrities wear contemporary Indian designers for International events. There’s so much more to Indian fashion than just wearing a traditional sari or lehenga abroad. Uber stylist Pernia Qureshi (who notably styled the film Aisha and recently opened her own shopping e-site) seems to adhere to the same principle of thought.
She was invited by Christian Dior to view their Haute Couture collection which marked Raf Simons first collection for the house. For the dinner hosted by them, Qureshi, wore a Morphe by Amit Aggarwal jacket and accessorized with a black clutch by Poem. For the main event she opted to wear a fiery red gown by Gaurav Gupta. I am gravitating more to her Morphe look, the texture and look of that jacket is simply breathtaking. Love the fluid lines. She clearly doesn’t have a fashion miss-step ever, does she?
