OMG I can’t believe I’m finally getting to this blog. I don’t know if you know this but I have major “to-do” list OCD. That means I’ll completely stress out until it’s to-done! Especially when it comes to blogging and last week my sucky 2mbps MTNL broadband connection totally conspired against me *sob* but look, we’re all caught up now, so let’s party! xoxo
So last week BlackBerry launched it’s hot new Porsche design over a swanky evening with more than a smattering of Bollywood celebrities including Ranveer Singh, Bhagyasghree, Anu Malik, Ayushman Khurana, Dia Mirza, Shamita Shetty, Sonakshi Sinha, Sameera Reddy, Neha Dhupia, Arjun Kapoor, Shazahn Padamsee, Evelyn Sharma and Dino Morea, a sexy fashion show by Rocky S. and a mind-reading session with Lior Suchard. It was SO cool! Here’s my evening in snapshots with a few bits of gossip that I picked up along the way 🙂

First up Mr. Suchard convinced Kabir Bedi (who was co-hosting with Kamaal Sidhu) to give him a friendly lift (ice-breaker I presume?) and then proceeded to read the minds of various Bollywood belles. Here’s the gist of it (with video!)
Neha Dhupia is very close to someone named “Bubbly”
Dia Mirza first kissed a boy when she was 14, his name was Samir!
Zarine Khan (Zayed Khan‘s mom) had a first crush named Vijay (which – much to everyone’s amusement – Zayed only walked in on half-way and so remained confused for the rest of the evening!)
And Ashish Raheja will never change. (I saw him get plastered and inch towards the stage looking to make trouble, but thankfully the show ended before he could. *phew*)
*lol* this must have been some kind of lighting trick because I totally didn’t Photoshop that ominous blue light! Arjun Kapoor caught me clicking audience reactions and I’m sure the dirty look was unintentional because he knows we love him 🙂
Then it was Gauhar Khan’s turn (who looked adorable in that yellow dress btw) Lior got her and another lady from the audience to read out the words “Black” and “Berry” off a newspaper without even realizing they did it! Mad cool.
And then of course there was my favorite mind-reading trick! When Lior asked for the most cynical person in the room we obviously volunteered Nowshad!
I’m waiting on video for the even cooler trick he did with Nowshad and I’ll post it here (so come back and see!) but he basically got him to pick a number between 31 and 100 and was bang on and how!
The fashion show by Rocky S. was (as expected) full power bling and super chic and Marv’s going to give you the blow by blow, fashion-wise tomorrow. For now I’d be amiss if I didn’t mention these two hilarious DJs who danced up a storm on screen during the show!
The other BlackBerry boys I presume? *lol*
