Everyone (and by everyone I mean mostly the media) has wondered when Sidhartha Mallya will dive into Bollywood and shimmy his way across the silver screen. Perhaps even with his sometimes “girlfriend” Deepika Padukone maybe? BUT he’s had a different plan all along and no, it’s not just about having a good time!

Sid says, “Bollywood films no! Categorically not. If tomorrow I was offered the role of James Bond, who would say no? You have to keep every door open, people might perceive me to have good looks or whatever, but that doesn’t mean I can act. Or that if I can I will be a success. I am a creative person as you saw with No Boundaries, I was involved with the editing, the shooting, the directing, I’m a very hands on person. If I did get involved with films, a part of me would have to be involved with the creative side as well than just the execution.”

So there you go, you heard it here first, Sid won’t ever do a Bolly film. Or will he? 🙂

As I was posting this I was wondering where I’ve heard that accent before, and it hit me! He sounds exactly like SomeGreyBloke! Who also hasn’t considered Bollywood, yet 🙂 xoxo
