We thought Kareena Kapoor‘s size zero look was a thing of the past, but apparently not! Bebo said in a recent interview that she’s been on a strict diet and workout regime to get the body she wants for Halkat Jawaani. And, according to her, while voluptuous may be sexy, fat is not – and that it’s every girl’s dream to be thin. Well, I think she may be mass generalizing a tad too much here! This is her comment in full – and do I sense a dig at the likes of Vidya Balan and Sonakshi Sinha?
Kareena Kapoor says: “I have gone back to the size-zero look I had in Tashan, but this time it is curvier. I wanted this body for my item song. Since it is a rigorous and raunchy number, I decided to go for a slim and sexy look but I still have curves in the right places. It may be a trend now with some actresses, but I definitely don’t want to look plump or fat! Being fat is not sexy! Anyone who says that is talking crap. Voluptuous is sexy, but fat is out. Any woman who says she doesn’t want to be thin is talking nonsense. It’s every girl’s dream.“
I’m not sure I understand “size zero but curvier”… isn’t that just, well, not size zero then? So why the size zero label unnecessarily, Kareena?
