I have always had the biggest crush on Imran Khan. It started with his adorable chocolate boy act in Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na and just when we thought he could only do romantic flicks, he surprised us with a superbly mature performance in Delhi Belly. Meeting and interviewing him at the GQ Best Dressed Men 2012 bash at the Four Seasons was just such an adorable (and totally memorable moment) and I love him even more now! Also, it helps that he thinks this blog is ace 🙂
Imran was punctual as always and politely agreed to do all the interviews before his pretty wife, Avantika Malik joined the celebrations. Of course, I totally think he deserves to be on the list of best dressed men. I love that he is so unlike any of the characters he plays onscreen. As Bollywood often demands, the guys he plays are sometimes unsure, confused and a little wannabe but in person he is intelligent, witty and very stylish!
We had the cutest chat about his own icons in the world of style and his eccentric style statement! I absolutely adore those black and purple crazy (but fun) Ted Baker slippers he wore to the bash…
Then he told me that he totally digs how MissMalini has a whole team of bloggers now with these ultra cool customized Flips, all ready to blog up a storm! He also said that he loves how his picture is right up there on the MissMalini homepage masthead which makes him feel great. Yup, IK is the full package! Smart, cool and sophisticated. Now, if only all men were this awesome… *sigh*
