Sonali Dawalni’s label Crimzon has always been a hot favorite with the ladies. So, when Sonali decided to launch her own flagship store in Juhu, fans of her divine accessories showed up to support her. The highlight of Sonali’s new accessory collection is her impeccable fusion of Indian embellishments with modern day designs.
At the preview on Saturday, Sonali unveiled the new signature collection which has funky footwear, bags, belts and semi precious jewelry, all carefully created from the finest silks, natural fibers and faux leather.
I love the burst of color in each accessory blended beautifully with a neutral base which makes them perfect for the summer. The ladies were having a blast picking out accessories and trying on lovely shoes as they gorged on red velvet cupcakes, muffins, cookies and coffee. I loved the delectable spread of desserts from Country Of Origin (dig their cake in a jar). I had the sweetest conversation with the owner, Sandali Sinha Salaskar (she was the doe-eyed beauty in the movie Tum Bin) who personally ensured that all the fashionistas were well fed!
Personally, I think Sonali’s collection of floral espadrilles in pop colors are total must-haves. These quirky summer shoes with rope soles are so desirable and they also has an impressive collection of wedges (so glad she experiments with fun designs) which I totally think every working woman needs.
I also can’t get enough of Crimzon‘s range of intricately crafted jewelry (they have these unique ones with leather and jute straps) made with agates, semi-precious stones and kundan is a reflection of her passion for her art.
The totes at Crimzon are a lot of fun too but my favorite was the messenger bag that is so great for the day or the night. I heart the clutches too and she has a whole range of them from the light cocktail ones to the heavy embellished ones for the wedding season. I was like a little kid in a candy store and I’m definitely going back for more.
