This is the third year of Kodak Better Photography Wedding Photographer Of the Year Awards which is India’s only award in wedding photography. The final awards ceremony will take place today, at Westin Mumbai Garden City, in the presence of the most renowned photographers and personalities from the photography as well as the wedding planning industry. The winner will receive a cash prize of Rs. 1 lakh!
This year they received 20,954 entries in six categories—

- Couple Portraiture
- Bridal Portraiture
- Family and Friends
- Behind the Scenes
- Photoseries on a Single Wedding
The Face-off took place in Malaysia where six finalists were flown to for 5 days. They shot nine different wedding themes including pre-wedding, honeymoon and a Malayan wedding theme. This year the finalists were also given the task of designing a photo album which will carry weight in the final evaluation process.
