I think Imtiaz Ali is, without doubt, one of the nicest people within the industry. Whenever I’ve interacted with him, he’s always been polite, down-to-earth, and in general just a very normal person. He even attended my college event for no reason except that we asked him to and he wanted to show his support! Turns out, the supportive thing is one of his traits; he’s helping promote a movie that he’s neither written, directed, or produced – just a film that he really likes and therefore wanted to encourage. Here’s what he said about it.
Says Imtiaz Ali, “I was exhilarated to watch Dekh Indian Circus. It was such a colourful way to represent the circus that the dynamics of an Indian village is. The film has a very well meaning heart and a brilliant and entertaining body. I am very impressed with Mangesh Hadawale’s work. I am thrilled to help reach this film out to people in the country and abroad. I am sure the film will win many hearts.”
The film is directed by Mangesh Hadawale, produced by Mahaveer Jain and with music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. We’re keeping our eye out for it – what about you?
