Funnily enough, I met Vaibhav via his girlfriend (Sherry Shroff) on Twitter after I raved about how cute he was in Love Breakups Zindagi. Turns our they are both delightful and I enjoyed having them at my Pavers shoe party. Love that Vaibhav is exploring other aspects of his artistic side and giving me one of his sketches to give YOU for FREE! xoxo
Q: To win this sketch just tell us what your favourite Brad Pitt movie is! Post your answer in the comments below (also specify your city).
I am an actor – I have worked in films like Teen Patti, Mausam and Love Breakups Zindagi.
I remember as a kid, I used love to draw. I used to really look forward to my drawing period in school – but as I grew older, drawing didn’t really fit into the scheme of things, so to speak. But sometime ago, my little nephew asked me to draw him one of his favorite cartoon characters… and it turned out shockingly good! Something hit me and I decided to get a pad and some pencils, and that was it… I kept learning through trial and error and got good!
Psst, you can win one – we’re giving away the Brad Pitt sketch! Remember – you must ‘Like’ MissMalini‘s Facebook page to qualify!
This series of sketches is all about my love for movies and for great performers – these actors have played these characters with such stupendous power that it is hard to get over them! These performances serve great inspiration to me as an actor. I have tried to capture the intensity of each character in these portraits, and I know movie buffs all over would appreciate that!
I will be auctioning these sketches on Twitter (@vaibhavtalwar) with another young and upcoming artist Jai Ranjit (@zaiuranjit) on #ArtAuction from May 15th to 17th between 10am and 10pm everyday. For further details about auction timings of each sketch, refer to Sketch Vetch on Facebook.
