Priyanj Special School recently celebrated World Autism Awareness Day to help create awareness among people and give their students a platform to showcase their talent, at the Carter road Amphi-theatre in Mumbai.
Members of the society enjoyed a pleasant evening at the sea front applauding the children of Priyanj Special School as they put up a spectacular show of song, dance and sporting activities.
Students between the ages of 4-to-21 years of age showcased their training and special talents in singing, dancing and other performance acts. Audiences enjoyed a special fashion show showcase, followed by a riveting performance by children from Jeet Singh’s Dance Academy. There was also a exceptional exhibition of amazing products created by the children. A full filled evening for all also served as an opportunity to educate the general public on Autism.
Seen at the show were Smita Thackeray, Dipaanita Sharma, Falguni and Shane Peacock and Maria Goretti who were cheering the performances throughout.
The cause was also supported by other celebrities like Shaimak Davar, Nina Manuel and Mansi Scott who dedicated their time and efforts in putting the show together.
