Uh oh. Choreographer Ahmed Khan is a close friend of both Shahid Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor, but recently he had to make a choice between the two – he was committed to choreographing two songs with Shahid for Kunal Kohli‘s Teri Meri Kahaani, but on the same dates, Ranbir insisted Ahmed choreograph his shortfilm with Nissan. So which did Ahmed Khan pick? He went with Ranbir’s shortfilm for Nissan, as it was a new experience entirely – it involved a 4-minute love story, 100 cars and expert drivers. Although Ahmed was reluctant to opt out of his commitment to Shahid, with whom he goes way back – SK even did a cameo in his film, Paathshaala – Shahid convinced him to go ahead as it would be something new for the choreographer.
Ahmed Khan clarified that this does not affect his relationship with Shahid at all, and that he’s now choreographing another song for him for the same film. Well, that’s good news! At least some Bollywood friendships seem to be surviving despite hiccups… guess we can’t say the same for Karan Johar and Priyanka Chopra.
