It’s back to square-one for superstar Shah Rukh Khan, this October!
The actor who kick-started with the TV series, Fauji, will now return to television in the larger-than-life TV series, Khandaan Ki Kahani to be produced by UTV.
Since MissMalini hosts a segment on Style Police for UTV Bindaas, the other day, we learnt from inside sources that Khandaan Ki Kahani will be a take-off from the 1985 hit TV show, Khandaan, which starred Neena Gupta and Reema Lagoo.
The show will debut in October 2012 and will see SRK as the patriarch of a Dubai-based warring family.
We spoke to Neena Gupta and she said, “Khandaan was a path-breaking serial in the Eighties and I’m looking foward to seeing how it’s being taken forward!”
Rumour has it that SRK will get a number of his Bollywood buddies to play cameos in the new series!
