Puma is always coming up with ways to get us unhealthy party folks to get up and move. Last night there were ping pong tables and a mini running track to test your speed. One thing that I really enjoyed, was the Capoeira group who performed; they were incredible and no one could turn away from their act. The highlight though, was Chitrangada Singh who flagged of the candidates for the ‘Faastest India’ campaign.
The actress, who loves her workouts, said “I’m thrilled to be the Fitness & Running brand ambassador for PUMA. PUMA is a very cool and vibrant brand, a perfect amalgamation of sport and style. It has set itself apart in the country through its unique designs, colours and approach. Fitness is gaining popularity in the country and PUMA’s ‘Faastest Indian’ will take it to the people in the country in their unique, uber cool style.”
Testing their speed, and going first, were the models Candice Pinto and Anchal Kumar. Emcee of the night, Cyrus Sahukar, joked ,saying that Anchal had more of a catwalk run than an actual sprint – he then went on to imitate her, which was quite the spectacle. After that the track was open to any who wanted to try it out, the incentive being, a whole years supply of Puma shoes for the fastest girl and boy of the night.
The big prize up for grabs though, is the chance to meet Usain Bolt, but for that you have to be the fastest guy or girl from India. So get practicing and head on over to your nearest Puma store to find out how you can meet Usain.
Spotted at the party was: Arunoday Singh, Aditi Rao Hydari, Rocky S, Narendra Kumar Ahmed, VJ Bani, Parvathy Omanakuttan, Aamna Sharif, Suchitra Pillai, Nishka Lulla, Candice Pinto, Aanchal Kumar and Simran Kaur Mundi.
