And so with all fairytales, MissMalini’s 3-day wedding extravaganza had to end too. And yes, she did get her Prince Charming.
Day 3:
After all the craziness at the after-party the night before, I think I speak for a lot of us, when I say Thank God, the wedding was scheduled for 4 p.m. That gave us, and more importantly, the bride & groom, enough time to chill out, and get ready for that lifetime-changing moment. Unfortunately, I arrived a little late on the scene (don’t ask, ‘coz I won’t tell), but I did make it just in time to see the beautiful bride taking her final steps towards the mandap.
The mandap was set up right in the middle of Morjim beach, and the bridal walkway was beyond breathtaking. It really was like one of those Hollywood movie-wedding scenes. With the ocean as the backdrop, and the sunset for the lighting, this was one wedding, which I guarantee will be replicated over and over and over again. Add to that, the bubbles we were given to blow at the couple, and you have to agree, this wedding was made in heaven; and Marry-Me, The Wedding Planners, were the angels in disguise!
You would think that the couple would be exhausted after this awesome-extravagazaed-out-wedding? Um, no! Think again. The party continued. And I heard, even sunrise was not enough to stop it…
And of course, massive kudos to Smashh, The Salon for her gorgeous hairdo, Ambereen Yusuf for her stunning makeup, Anita Dongre for her fantabulous ensembles and Anmol for her bling bling!
