As promised, the series showcasing the fairytale wedding of MissMalini & Nowshad Rizwanullah continues. Are you ready for day 2 of the extravaganza?
Day 2, Part 1:
Like all Indian weddings, this one had a mehendi ceremony as well. Traditional? Yes. Conventional? No. This was a first-of-its-kind mehendi carnival, held at Montego Bay Beach Village; food, games, alcohol. What more could one ask for?
The mehendi giveaways included bangles (multi-coloured and super cute!), bindi’s, silver anklets and a goody-filled bag from Besos, which had a hair-tie, lip balm, nail polish & nail polish remover wipes (how convenient is that??).
And those who didn’t want to get mehendi done, could grab a straw hat, shovels and sarong and head down to the beach.
Day 2, Part 2:
Time for an outfit change. Dancing shoes compulsory! The sangeet was nothing short of a scene right out of Bollywood. With DJ Aqeel at the console, MissMalini’s friends & family put on quite the show, which ended with the soon-to-be couple dancing to Laung Da Lashkara… it was a complete awwwww moment.
And the fun was not restricted to the dance floor (hello, it was MissMalini’s sangeet)! There was this insane photo-booth, equipped with props and all; we’re talking signboards, wigs and other accessories. (Promise you a peek at the madness soon!)
And of course, huge shout-out to Marry-Me, The Wedding Planners for a fab & fun-filled Day 2 of the MissMalini wedding extravaganza, Smashh, The Salon for her gorgeous hairdo, Ambereen Yusuf for her stunning makeup & Anita Dongre for her fantabulous ensembles and Anmol for her bling bling!
