There was a definite sense of nerves at the Lakme Fashion Week auditions, mainly because of the return of the male model auditions after 4 seasons. Out of the 200 (or more) male models who turned up, only 4 were going to be selected – you could tell the guys were on edge. Meanwhile, the female models countered these nerves with bursts of giggles and some serious runway poses.
Judging this lot, were fashion big wigs who know exactly what they want to see walking down the runway. Supermodel Nina Manuel, Anu Ahuja, show directors Lubna Adams & Shy Kalra, photographer Farrokh Chotia, designers Narendra Kumar & Aki Narula, along with Anjana Sharma, the Director of Fashion at IMG Reliance, all had a tough task. But as usual, they chose the best of the best.
