Sayali Bhagat looked dazzling against the backdrop of all the scandalous news that has been doing the rounds of the media over the past few months.
Wearing a grey one-shoulder dress and a swept-up hair-do, the ex Miss India and Bollywood debutant was in no mood to play to the gallery in regards to the alleged accusations made by her and against her.
We caught up with her at launch of the music for the film, Ghost, in Bandra last evening and here’s what she told us on camera!
For starters, she was peeved with us for “Not checking with me before printing things on your blog!” However, we told her that her so-called official talent management agency, Creme Talent Management, had quoted her in the press releases so we obviously took her for her word.
I also asked her that if it was all fabricated by some PR agency, why didn’t she get in touch with MissMalini or myself to clarify her stand, earlier?
To this she replied, “Will you print anything which anyone sends you without checking with the source?”
I replied, “If we print it without checking, we are also obliged to amend what we have printed if the person concerned came forward and gave us a statement directly!”
She of course, did not do this.
Anyhow, with the release of this film in the near future, doesn’t it look a bit suspicious that the “star” would allow such a huge controversy to blow out of proportion without calling for a press conference? Doesn’t it look a bit staged? To which she replied, “Do I really need cheap tricks for publicity?”
We of course, are at no liberty to answer that!
