Dia Mirza and The Body Shop have a lot in common. Both believe in natural, ethical ways of enhancing your beauty. And considering I heart and devour every single product The Body Shop’s ever made, I was totally elated when I discovered their all new Extra Virgin Minerals Foundation range.
Dia (she makes the cutest brand ambassador ever) unveiled this new range of mineral make-up which has extra virgin olive oil and triple refined mineral pigments. I was so mesmerized coz Dia’s actually really pretty and she had the sweetest things to say for MissMalini readers.
She looked gorgeous in a summer dress as spoke to me about her skincare mantra and her make-up and beauty essentials. She also seemed super excited about her first ever Bengali flick, an intense project which she’s just started work on.
The Virgin Minerals party also had international make-up artist Daniel Bauer along with Shriti Malhotra, COO, The Body Shop India talking about the all new range which has eight ‘suit- all’ shades which are fragrance free and are beneficial for all skin types.
Daniel tried on some of the unique Virgin Minerals products on Dia’s skin and she particularly loved the Extra Virgin Minerals Cream Compact as she feels it’s delightfully weightless with that ‘barely there’ sensation on your skin. I loved trying the products which include an Extra Virgin Minerals Compact Foundation, a Loose Powder Foundation with SPF 25 and a Liquid Foundation.
What I dig is that each of these little wondrous Mineral products (made from Community Fair Trade Italian Olive Oil and Marula oil from Namibia) blend very easily into the skin to give you an even coverage and upto 14 hours of moisturized skin.
And as Dia rightly said, Moisturize Moisturize Moisturize (along with some healthy food and a l’il exercise) is the key to radiant, flawless skin.
So, if you’re looking for a cruelty-free product which is innovative and gives you a light, incredible all day coverage, Extra Virgin Minerals is just the thing for you.
