MissMalini Says: Finally an Indian musical where the actors really sing and dance LIVE on stage! Love it 🙂 xoxo
The Chivas Studio has lined up a an interesting mix of programs for audiences in Delhi and Mumbai this year. Bollywood Director Rohan Sippy will direct a Broadway-style play which features all the elements of a masala blockbuster. Set in the 1960’s, it stars Ali Fazal, Shahana Goswami, Hazel Keach and Rahul Dev. The dances are choreographed by Terence Lewis.
Chivas Studio is the only and the first ever eclectic amalgamation of fashion, art, mixology, cinema, music and gourmet food which renders a unique experience that seamlessly integrates art and luxury through its collaborative concept. Hence, it comes as no surprise to learn that designers Abraham & Thakore, along with musician Ranjit Barot, will also lend their considerable talents to this project.
In the Art Foyer section, painter and installation artiste Paresh Maity collaborates with ace photographer Jatin Kampani to create an art experience that embraces interpretations of various forms of art such as installations, photograph, paintings, video art et al.
Denver based Live Art maestro Brian Olsen will also create live art to the beats of the musical rhythms of Mrigya.
The dates for the event are: Delhi – 26th and 27th November; Mumbai – 10th and 11th December.
