Dhoom was Esha’s makeover flick. She looked scorching in a bikini… those cute little skirts with high heels… and everything else that only a girl with the perfect figure could pull off… and I must admit… her hard work at the gym did transform her completely.
Everyone was raving about her great abs and her perfectly toned bod! She was like the perfect role model for girls who wanted to get fit and Esha never looked better. Dhoom was a huge success and everyone loved the title track with her killer dance moves.
2) Jaa Sanam Mujhko Hai from Na Tum Jaano Na Hum
All the songs of this movie were mesmerizing. Esha Deol and Hrithik Roshan had some memorable romantic chemistry and its just such a warm, sensitive flick that moves you so deeply. Esha was totally impressive as a girl madly in love with a pen friend in this one.
3) Nikamma Kiya Is Dil Ne From Kya Dil Ne Kahaa
Gosh, YouTubing this song just reminded me of how much I loved watching it back then. Tusshar Kapoor looks really cute with Esha and they have so much energy…you can’t help but love them. They actually did a few other movies together but this one was actually a lot of fun… so I had to put it on my list!
4) Baadal from Yuva
This movie received a lot of critical acclaim. She actually looks really beautiful in this no makeup deglam look wearing traditional Indian clothes.. It truly reminds you that she’s just so beautiful.. just like her mom Hema Malini still does! And with her stellar performance opposite Ajay Devgn which was widely appreciated, she also proved that she’s a true blue Deol and that acting is in her genes.
5) Aa Khushi Se Khudkhushi Karle from Darling
Esha and Fardeen Khan had sizzling chemistry in this powerhouse song. And Esha was fab in a negative role… so fab that she even won the Filmfare Award for Best Villain!
6) Touch My Body from Tell Me Oh Khuda
And when we’re listing out my favorite Esha songs, I can’t forget her newest movie, Tell Me Oh Khuda directed by her mum. Salman Khan had a super hot song item song in this one… item song sounds so funny when I use it to describe a song with our favorite Dabangg Khan… But it’s great seeing the two of them back on the silver screen after the successful husband-wife act in No Entry.
Esha has won me over with her confidence, in Tell Me Oh Khuda which was sort of like her comeback movie. What really makes her stand apart is that she can carry off completely different characters with the greatest of ease.
From playing the pati vrata wife to the other woman, Esha has managed to infuse new life into each of her roles. Her dance has also spun magic into all the flicks she’s been in.
