This weekend if you’re in Mumbai City, get ready to LOL or even LYFAO (Y=your) at the Naked Comedy Festival at St. Andrew’s auditorium in Bandra – courtesy of Bonobo Productions. Bonobo is one of the hip-per joints in our city of sin that is well-known for its zany events and bubbly atmosphere. They now launch Bonobo Productions with the aim of staging these events on a larger scale and encompassing all forms of arts and entertainment. Their focus will be on creating stage shows/events in Mumbai and later, pan-India.

So, on the 7th and 8th of October, Bonobo Productions maiden offering is “Naked Comedy Festival – Stripped to the Funny Bone” – a unique and first of its kind festival in India to showcase the stand-up routine of original Indian comedians. The festival will take place at St. Andrews auditorium, Mumbai, and will feature over ten comedians from all over India over both the days.
On the bill are wildly popular comedians like Papa CJ from Delhi and Sorabh Pant from Mumbai who will share the stage with both experienced and upcoming talent from around India. The event will also incorporate a specially curated bazaar with a comedic twist, involving professional clowns and stilt walkers!
The event will be hosted by actor and comedian, Ashwin Mushran. The tickets are availble on bookmyshow.com, at Bonobo and at St. Andrews auditorium in Bandra. Book early for good seats. This promises to be one hilarious event!
