Where: Los Angeles, California
Why: Family. Friends. Music. Food. And of course…. Stars.
October has been anything but boring. Pinktober celebrations have taken me to places as close as New Delhi for the Women’s Car Rally and as far away as Los Angeles for the launch of Pinktober in Hard Rock Café, Hollywood. Tough life I tell you. 😉
Let’s talk a little about the City of Angels, one of my not so favorite US cities. Between the horrid traffic, Juicy Couture sweat suits and deathly pollution, I usually try to avoid stepping foot into LA proper. Now let’s talk about Hollywood Boulevard in specific. This street attracts every type of madness, from snake tamers to rappers spitting their lyrics at star struck tourists to grandmothers dressed as Marilyn Monroe (oh how I wish there were age limits on some of the costumes!)
Every inch of this street is fabulous in its own right. Add this fabulous-ness to girly sleepovers at the hauntingly beautiful Roosevelt Hotel, meeting Melissa Etheridge during her reveal of her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and eating my way through the city at the coolest places like Street, I was in LA Heaven. My apologies for the counting you out as a great city Los Angeles. See you again soon! xo
