Halloween is a night where you bring out those alter egos (or hide a big one) so, get ready to dress to excess. This year we at MissMalini.com and the good folks at Tote are digging the whole vintage, goth feel. So we thought we’d give you a few ideas on how to dress with this theme in mind. In case you are looking for a Halloween party and are in the city of Mumbai, then head to Tote on the Turf. There isn’t any entry, it’s pay as you go with the entire indoor and outdoor area as your evil playground. But you must rsvp since it’s by guest-list only!
Idea #1 – Gothic Bride
What you need:
Black Corset with tutu mini skirt or even a leather mini, worn with black or red veil. Add a skull engagement ring, thigh high boots with a garter belt and red rose bouquet for that bridal feel. Final Touch, lacy gloves for that hint of vintage.
Idea #2 – Dark Angel
What you need:
Black lace dress with black wings and Halo (should be available at a costume store or on amazon.com). Add a long black wig and some black or red lipstick. Get that vintage feel by adding a cameo brooch to the dress. Finish the look with sky high heels.
