Legendary singer Asha Bhosle has entered the Guinness Book of World Records for the most studio recordings. She has reportedly sung 11,000 solo/duet songs in 20 Indian languages since 1947! She accepted this honor at the Asian awards in London were she thanked Vishwas Nerurkar , who counted and gave the Guinness Book of World Records the exact information. At the age of 78 Ashaji will now be making her on-screen debut in the Hindi film Maaee. Admirable, isn’t it? I hope I have that much energy at her age!
