Team MissMalini scored an exclusive interview with the lovely Pallavi Sharda who plays Radhika in the film Love Breakups Zindagi that released today. When I arrived at her Bandra apartment, she had the LBZ soundtrack on loop. We quickly settled down to do the interview where we discussed many things, such as her character in LBZ, what she thinks about “true love”, and the many languages she knows (watch the video to see her say, “Hi, my name is Pallavi Sharda and you’re watching me on MissMalini.com” in three different languages!)
We shot the interview (and took this picture) with her sitting on the headboard of her bed! 😉 Pretty unusual location to do an interview, but I loved the pictures in the background and Pallavi just hopped on there like it was no big deal. That’s what I liked most about Pallavi, I think – she exudes this fun, laid-back vibe which is evident even in the way she’s decorated her home.
Like her place? I liked it; you can see she tried to “make it her own.” I even really liked the boomerang in the background – she picked it up in Australia, where she’s originally from. You can hear her Australian accent during the interview, but the cool thing is that when she speaks in Hindi, it’s completely unaccented and totally authentic. Which is nice to see; I’ve been getting tired of the recent slew of actresses who can’t speak Hindi but are around because they can look pretty. Thankfully, Pallavi can do both!
