Saree Dreams, Coming True!

So I made another trip to Anita Dongre‘s boutique at Palladium Mall (this time with girlfriends in tow) just to get BFF approval on all my chosen outfits 🙂 and I’m happy to report they were all much-loved (and approved.) I even found this gorgeous pink saree to take to Dhaka for the December functions (isn’t it lovely?!) and the traditional red one I was thinking for the main wedding ceremony is getting remade with a bling upgrade so I look – you know – more bridal 🙂 Wanna see the swatch?

I’m getting a pure silk georgette sari embroidered with traditional metal tilka hand embroidery!

The only real dilemma I’m having is which choli to go with for my sangeet in Goa! Perhaps you can help?

Ruffles or gold? Ruffles or gold? If all else fails I’m going to just rely on the inky-pinky-ponky technique to pick for me 🙂

Anmol, Celebrity Bridal Bling

And guess what? All my deck-me-out-I’m-getting-married dreams are about to come true! Anmol Jewelers (located on Turner Road) has the most fantastic range of bridal bling I have ever seen. I’m thrilled to report that I am about to join the ranks of Shilpa Shetty and Lara Dutta (I saw the sangeet set on display!) who wore Anmol for their Big Fat Indian Weddings too (aside from the countless other glitterati that have gleamed in their goods before.)
