Shah Rukh Khan: “There is great synergy between Ra.One and Symbian Belle as they both  represent technology of the next level. I am delighted that Ra.One will  be the first movie in the country to be marketed through NFC.”

Talk about taking things to the next level. Remember how I mentioned that Ra.One‘s promotion keeps getting better? Well, marketing the film through a still somewhat futuristic type of technology like NFC certainly qualifies as taking things to the next level. Near-field communication revolves around the concept of just ‘tapping’ your phone when you’re near NFC tags, which can be used to do things like make payments, get more information, etc. Which is why these Nokia phones are called ‘Just Tap’. But the whole concept of ‘tapping’ has got me thinking… what I’d really like is my own personal Shah Rukh Khan robot that I could just tap to do certain things. Things like:

1. Stretch his arms wide open

This is the classic SRK pose that can still elicit a dreamy “hai…” from girls everywhere. No SRK robot would be complete without this signature move. 🙂

2. Give words of encouragement

SRK has recited quite a few motivational quotes in his films before, the most famous being, “koi baat nahin senorita, bade bade deshon mein aisi choti choti baatein hoti rehti hai.” I feel like this would be the perfect way to cheer me up when something’s not going right. Should I ever be struggling to decide whether I should go ahead and do something or not, a quick “kya pata – kal ho naa ho” from him will probably give me all the motivation I need! Oh, and, should I be having a drab day, he can always break out the orange pants and start singing, “Pretty woman!”

3. Recreate the gazebo scene

The gazebo scene from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai is probably one of my favourite scenes of all time. I love everything about this scene, and who wouldn’t want to be in Kajol‘s place here?

4. Ask me, “wanna be my chammak chhalo?”

This song is all the rage these days (can’t get it out of my head), and SRK is probably the only guy who can ask this question without getting slapped. 😉 The answer, by the way, is yes!

5. Give me make-up tips

Hehe, okay now I’m just messing around, but I thought this was such a funny and cute tweet. Plus, thanks to all those years in the industry, it’s obvious he’s picked up some tips (both make-up related and otherwise), that I’d love to learn about.

What about you? What would your personal SRK robot look like?
