Dear Mals, Below is a little something I wrote about my experience and spending yesterday with Paris. 🙂
Paris Hilton in my City: A big – O – M – G. I finally got to meet ‘Lady Lush’ up close & personal (albeit impromptu.) I’ve got to say we have definitely got the better end of the deal – not only did we get Paris & all her charm but she came with a range of fabulous handbags too! She has this strut with a little totter sprinkled with swan-like grace. You know when Paris has walked into the room, she is full of pleasantries & bears a huge beaming smile. I love Paris – always have & always will. The heiress that has it all makes it ok for us to be a smidgen chameleon. One minute we’re girly girls saying “That’s hot” and the next we are straight into business mode. Awesome.
When Paris does things – she does them properly. Forget airs… graces & all things fluffy – this girl keeps it real. A wearer of many hats she can wear my Estinna’s any day because I have got one that goes for all of them. One of the first things she said to me was “Love your dress – that’s hot.” The frills on my outfit gave a secret Mexican Mumbai wave at that point. My very own BFF’s Parveen & Suki Dusanj were with me as was beau Seher Bedi – they knew what this meant to me.
I am now making her a lush white “Estinna” – something I do not readily offer celebrities because I believe you have to be an Estinna to wear an Estinna.
Paris rocks… she is everything I can relate to as a fashion designer. Even though I am dressing Bollywood & Hollywood, for me – Paris is my girl.
So by day we talked & by night we shared a quick shimmy at her party. Paris loves India & I know that India will love Paris right back.
