Reebok India is the Official Training and Sportswear partner for Airtel Delhi Half Marathon 2011 scheduled for the 27th of November 2011. And it has taken on the initiative to groom participants of the Half Marathon with the Reebok Running Squad. Last week, members of the Reebok Running Squad got to meet Reebok ambassador Gautam Gambhir as he flagged off the first race at the first RRS meet at Nehru Park, New Delhi.
Bringing together the RRS groups from across Delhi, Gurgaon and Noida, the RRS Meet was a chance for all the RRS members to have a friendly run for a fitter and healthier Delhi. More than 120 runners from across all regions made it for the professional marathon training. The training covers three aspects: stamina building, all round physical training and nutrition. The best part of all: the training sessions are free!
The RRS program is versatile and trains people of different fitness levels ranging from new runners (who have never run in their life) to advanced runners. A team of certified nutritionists and dieticians are also associated with this training program that work closely with individuals/groups training to ensure that diet compliments the physical training routine ensuring complete fitness required to achieve the end results. The sessions started on the 10th of September and will continue on till the 26th of November, 2011. Best of luck runners!
