Earlier we brought you the father-son duos of Bollywood, but we can’t leave the ladies out, now can we? Bollywood has been host to some legendary mother-daughter duos over the years; in some cases the daughters haven’t quite lived up to their mothers’ names, but in others, they’ve done that and much more. So if we ever get a chance to see these daughters play a younger version of their moms (Mehrunnisa style), here’s a look at how well they would match up!

1. Dimple Kapadia and Twinkle Khanna

They’ve got the same piercing eyes and beautiful mane of hair, but more than that, what they share is undeniable grace and an impeccable sense of style. Funnily enough, they sort of remind me of Eleanor and Blair from Gossip Girl, lol, give ’em a chance and they’ll probably take over the world! 😛

2. Tanuja and Kajol

You don’t need much more than their cheery smiles to see the similarity between these two, but they also share the same eyes and the same nose.

3. Hema Malini and Esha Deol

It’s tough to live up to the dream girl’s reputation, but we have to give Esha props for trying. As for looks, they share the same eyes, smile, and that mischievous ‘I-know-something-but-I-won’t-tell-you’ expression.

4. Sharmila Tagore and Soha Ali Khan

This duo oozes class (must be all that royalty, eh?), and while Soha hasn’t had too many hits, she exudes a charm that’s reminiscent of her mother. Plus, these two have such distinctive features that make them seem almost aristocratic!
