It has been a busy last week. Finally found some time last afternoon and decided to watch a bad, stupid movie (yes that’s how I unwind on Sundays). So picked up “Bad Teacher“. It is a Bad movie (the capital B is on purpose) much worse than I had thought. But that is not what we discuss in this post. The movie got me thinking as to how is it working professionally with ex-es (Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake dated for 4 years before parting ways in 2007.) I mean are they any awkward moments, some spill-over bitterness or is it all forgotten and forgiven?
On that note I thought of preparing a list of some ex-couples who I would love to watch on screen again. Please feel free to add to the list. Can’t think of a more fun, mindless way of beating Monday blues 🙂
Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins Who didn’t love them? Two good looking, accomplished artists in a relationship that lasted 23 years (in Hollywood parlance that’s a lifetime… thrice over). I so want to see them in a movie and given that they both have very strong political leanings I suggest a hard hitting, political drama.
Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt Methinks they should do one of those silly, sometimes-fun romantic comedies that Ms. Aniston specializes in. And it has been a while that Brad has done something light. After all the heart break, ugly media reports etc etc fans world wide would queue up to watch them together. And maybe Ms Jolie can be asked to a do a cameo… lol. Now now my imagination is running wild again!
Demi Moore and Bruce Willis Oooh hotness personified! The former Mr. and Mrs. Willis can still set the mercury soaring. And given how friendly her current arm candy, Ashton Kutcher is with her ex husband a threesome is the order of the day. Maybe the next installment of Die Hard or an entire season of Two And A Half Men (janta will soon forget all about Charlie Sheen… is CBS listening?)
Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise Because even after all these years they still remain one of my favourite couples. Now that they have moved on and found happiness with others’ , directors should be looking at casting them together. An adaptation of a classic or a romantic musical maybe. Something slightly fairytalesque, that brings their love and beauty alive.
Can you guys think of some more names?
Next up is our wish list of Bollwood once-lovers we want to see reunited on celluloid.
