I never understood why so many Indians grudge Freida Pinto her success. So what if she got lucky? She worked very hard and made the most of all the opportunities that came her way. As she has grown in confidence, her fashion choices have also evolved and now she can hold her own in any red carpet event in any city of the world. And unlike lot of other desi celebs she never looks like she is trying too hard (read: choking in Herve Leger bandage dresses two sizes too small….*lol*)
The last few days have seen her attend many events to promote her two back-to-back movies, Immortals and The Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes.
Loved Freida in this red Marios Schwab Fall 2011 dress and that gorgeous pair of snake-skin heels that she wore to The Tonight Show With Jay Leno. It was a combination of smart and sexy – just right for a TV interview.
Her other winning look came at the premiere of The Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes in this sparkling green Juan Carlos Obando number. I am so glad to see that girl doesn’t shy away from playing with colours on the red carpet.
Freida looks utterly delicious in this white sheath dress. Adored the pop of colour which came from her Brian Atwood peep-toes and her blue Chanel flap bag. I so want to copy this look. Head-to-toe perfection!
Ms Pinto was at her cheery, lovely best at The Daily Show With Jon Stewart in a Roland Mouret Attis Carre top and a Roland Mouret Cleonte skirt. She again excels in the footwear department by choosing this stunning pair of Nicholas Kirkwood lace-up sandals.
She is fast turning into a red carpet favourite. Way to go girl!
We at MissMalini will keep rooting for your success and keenly look forward to your next fashionable step-out.
