Aishwarya Rai was to be the lead actress in UTV and Madhur Bhandarkar‘s Heroine. However, the news of her pregnancy came along and she had to drop out of the film. Even then, UTV didn’t want to shelve the film. After much persuasion, Kareena Kapoor was brought on board. But we hear she wanted to charge 8 crore for the film which the makers found a little steep. As if being the highest paid actress in Bollywood wasn’t enough, Kareena has now joined the ranks of the Khans. While Aamir Khan, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan are known to share profits of a film, it will be the first time a heroine will be doing so. Along with the producers and Arjun Rampal, Kareena Kapoor will also have a share in the film’s profits. With this news, her rank as Heroine No. 1 has definitely been established.
