Aftab Shivdasani is really excited about his first horror flick ever. The movie, 1920-Evil Returns is a sequel to Vikram Bhatt’s 192o which had Rajneesh Duggal and Adah Sharma in the lead roles. Liked that one? I remember watching it in a college hostel dormitory with friends and it managed to send shivers down my spine.
Aftab was last seen in a comedy called Bin Bulaye Baarati (I don’t think too many people saw that one) but this horror flick which will be directed by Bhushan Patel promises to scare you outta your wits!

Vikram Bhatt’s really loving the spooky act after the success of Haunted 3D we think. Aftab’s done eight movies with Vikram and this being their ninth project together is really exciting for both of them. The shooting for the movie starts in Sweden this October and it will hit theaters in February, 2012.

Aftab’s been tweeting away about how he wants suggestions from his fans on his retro look for the movie. This takes me back to when Aftab’s first movie, Mast came out. I was in my early teens and had the biggest crush on him. He was so “chweet” as the boy next door with a superstar crush. After his debut, Aftab played a rather unconventional character in his second movie Kasoor with Lisa Ray.
You remember how adorable he was in comedies like Masti, Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega and Awara Pagal Deewana. I would totally want to see more of him in different but challenging roles. We think his chocolate-boy looks and his attitude still rocks. So, let’s just wish Aftab does some fun flicks in the future and continues to entertain us! Long live, dimples!
