The lovable Bridget Jones is going to be seen back on screen with the third installment from the ‘Bridget Jones’ series! Based off the novel by Helen Fielding, Bridget Jone’s Diary was released in 2001 and grossed $281 million. While the sequel The Edge of Reason was released in 2004 and made $262 million worldwide. Though the lead actors Renee Zellweger, Hugh Grant, & Colin Firth haven’t confirmed their participation in the film, I can’t imagine the movie without them. Last year Firth, who plays the adorable Mark Darcy hinted a possibility in reviving the series and a potential story line, “I can tell you that Bridget and Mark can’t have children, I think that’s the way it goes on. So then she makes the huge mistake of going back to Daniel Cleaver for long enough to get pregnant. And I think he dumps her, and she’s left stranded, and guess who comes back to rescue her?” Ladies, are you excited about this one? 🙂
