Actress and designer Shama Sikandar was in for a very pleasant surprise when she attended the opening of a new restaurant in The Burbs last night. Togged out in a layered mini dress and accompanied by her brother Khalid and good friend Shahrukh Askari, Shama had no clue that a surprise cake would be presented to her to cut at the stroke of midnight since it would be her birthday!
When the Meet Brothers (Harmeet and Manmeet) asked her to come on stage, Shama was quite the picture of surprise. But the moment they – and the rest of the crowd – began singing Happy Birthday to her, she blushed profusely and burst into giggles. Here are a few pix of the surprise birthday celebration.
