Picture this; you’re sitting down to dinner at a fairly upscale restaurant in Mumbai’s poshest mall and out strolls a Big Fat RAT.
No kidding. Last night Fahad Samar, Simone Singh, Ash Chandler, Junelia Aguiar and Alon Mooleman decided to follow up watching Cowboys v/s Aliens with a meal at Rohit Bal’s blinged out restaurant called Veda in Palladium Mall, Phoenix Mills. While I adequately warned them that a movie with a title like THAT could not help but leave a bad taste in your mouth (Harrison Ford or no Harrison Ford) I could never have predicted just how ratty their evening would become!
While I’m left picturing some toon action with the ladies standing on their chairs screeching “eeks!” I can’t help but feel pretty damn grossed out. Obviously they (and several other diners) screamed blue murder and hot-footed it out of their (sans dessert) but only after the management said something like, “I know sir, we’ve been working on it for the past three days.” TMI guy, TMI! That’s Too Much Information for the uninitiated 🙂 What kind of restaurant stays open for THREE DAYS after they discover they might have a serious rat problem? I hate to rat on them (um, pardon the pun) but I just had to let you know (as did the crew, thank God for Twitter!) UB 40, over to you.
