Any fashion week you go to will have a bunch of Bollywood stars walking the runway, sitting on front row and having a drink at the lounge! Delhi Couture Week 2011 was much the same and this time they were decked in Indian couture.A bit of a surprise was Manish Malhotra who choose the slender Sonam Kapoor for his runway, bringing the Bollywood show stopper back onto his runways, something which he said he wanted to stop. Shraddha Kapoor was show stopper for Gaurav Gupta and Anju Modi, quite the ramp darling, 2 shows in one fashion week, not bad at all! The self-proclaimed show stopper Arjun Rampal walked for Rohit Bal. At Ashima Leena the still gorgeous Sharmila Tagore ended the show with a layered lehenga.
There were many celebrities off the ramp however, making an appearance were Shweta Bachchan and Sonakshi Sinha’s parents Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha.
