Café Casa Mia re-opened recently at R-City Mall in Ghatkopar (West) with a swanky new avatar and menu brimming with Indian and Continental comfort food. Chef Mrinmoy Acharya emphasized that the element of comfort was key at Café Casa Mia. The place has a warm and inviting ambience. Some dishes that feature in the menu are Mushroom and Thyme Crostini, Wasabi Prawns, Grilled Mediterranean Rawas, Three Cheese Risotto (with grilled vegetables), Leek and Mushroom Crepes (with tomato & smoked scarmoza cream), Grilled Mustard Rawas (with herbed rice and lemon pepper butter), Classic Fish & Chips, Spaghetti Bolognaise, Morrocon Lamb (with herbed rice), an array of burgers (including a Turkey Salami Burger), a wide variety of pizzas and desserts like Hazelnut Mousse Torte, Crème Brulee, Flourless Chocolate Almond Fudge, Apple Crumble Pie and a wide variety of cheesecakes. Of course, there’s no revamp without a party. At the re-opening, Nisha Harale Bedi, Gary Richardson and Tanya, Viren Shah and Alexx O’Neil made appearances.
