After 7 years of marriage and adorable twins, superstar couple Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have announced their separation. In a joint statement they told PEOPLE magazine, “We have decided to end our marriage, This was a very difficult decision. We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters. It is a painful time for all involved, and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time.” On the professional front this has been a fantastic year for J.LO with her hit new album Love and her successful stint as an American Idol judge.

It all ends this weekend! Harry Potter fans are flocking to the theatres to say goodbye to their favorite wizard, setting records at the box-office. The midnight showing of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 conjured up $43.5 million beating the previous record set by The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, which made $30 million. Trade pundits estimate the film is on its way to making $150 million this weekend, it truly is turning out to be a grand farewell!
