Highlights
a) Dancing at Bread and Butter 2011 in the summer sunlight (which lasts till nearly 10pm) with Berlin’s most fashionable crowd, while popping in and out of Soho House like a legendary creative cat (Qvendo, that was super cool, props.)
b) Watching LIVE installation art which involved two dudes beating the crap out of their cars with baseball bats (and a flying helmet) haven’t you always wanted to do that?! (What the video, I kid you not.)
…and c) Contemplating “Cookies” which is apparently the hottest club in Berlin but alas jet lag and high heels were my kryptonite (I guess I’ll just have to come back!)
As you can see I’m trying desperately to keep up (to-date) but it’s not easy to blog while running around Berlin’s fashion Disney World with Qvendo’s staff/epic party crew! Not that I’m complaining or anything, I’m just afraid I’ll forget to tell you something 🙂 So THANK GOD for Twitter, which is where btw you get real-time updates of everything happening at Bread and Butter in Berlin. I’m @MissMalini (also follow @Qvendo, @ovq and @rvq for more updates.) So after my super shopping day in the city we hit up Soho House to meet the rest of the Qvendo peeps… It’s only one of the coolest clubs in the city (also in New York and London) and open exclusively to extremely creative peeps (sorry banker boys, you can’t buy your way into this one, ha!) Everything about this roof-top-pool-side-lounge-bar radiates “coolness” and the beautiful people you see go with the territory. (Maybe if I *wish* really hard we’ll get one in Mumbai soon, after all isn’t that The Secret? 🙂
But for now take a look at pix from my day and of course the Bread and Butter opening party that happened on Tuesday/night.
I gotta say people in Berlin were super cute about posing, maybe because nobody really compliments each other that much out loud here, but I felt the fashionable deserved solid props, so please feel free to comment! 🙂 xoxo
Wanna see more pix? Sure you do!
